The Role: The permanent building substitute will be assigned to Meadow Brook School for the 2026-27 school year (8:50a.m.

- 4:00p.m. daily). Duties include providing class coverage for teachers and paraprofessionals on a daily basis as well as assisting and supporting other building operations and duties such as the supervision of lunch/recess and arrival/dismissal. The permanent building substitute will perform additional duties as assigned by the building principal and will work 30 minutes beyond dismissal in order to plan and support in the manner outlined above.

Welcome to Meadow Brook School! Meadow Brook School serves East Longmeadow students in preschool through second grade in a nurturing child centered environment. At Meadow Brook, we feel that reaching children where they are functioning-academically, socially, emotionally, and physically-is critical to their development. We offer a challenging curriculum that is aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks as well special subjects such as Physical Education, Art, Music, Computer Lab, and Library.

We also have a comprehensive special education program as well as gifted and talented education.
