Arbor Associates is seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher for a contract placement at a public school in East Longmeadow, MA. This role supports students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other significant and complex learning needs. The right candidate will bring both expertise and compassion — creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

• Design and deliver dynamic, differentiated lessons aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and grounded in Universal Design for Learning principles.
• Apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support individual learning and behavioral needs.
• Provide accommodations and modifications to the general education curriculum using diverse instructional techniques, technology, and student IEP goals.
• Foster a classroom culture of safety, respect, and belonging that promotes positive academic and social experiences for all students.
• Collaborate with general educators, specialists, administrators, and support staff to ensure holistic student growth.
• Communicate proactively with families and caregivers, building strong partnerships in support of each student's success.
• Write and implement IEPs, goals, objectives, and progress reports; lead annual review meetings with professionalism and care.
