Visual Changes Inc. is looking for a licensed cosmetologist to join our established, upscale salon in East Longmeadow. For nearly four decades, Visual Changes Inc. has built a reputation for exceptional service, continued education, and putting the integrity of our clients' hair first. - Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and extension services to clients.
- Follow salon safety protocols by maintaining sanitation standards and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or retail products.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Holds a current Massachusetts cosmetology license.
- Is passionate about cutting, coloring, styling, and current trends.
- Provides an exceptional client experience.
- Is dependable, professional, positive, and team-oriented.
- Is eager to continue learning and growing.
- Wants to build and retain a loyal clientele.
- Knowledge of color theory.
- Strong understanding of salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, and disinfection procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients.
- Retail sales experience helpful.
- 4-day minimum work week (you can work 6 days if you prefer).
