Overview
Direct Care Professional — Department:
Developmental Brain Injury Services
Location:
Residential programs throughout Hamden, Hampshire, Franklin & Berkshire counties. Shift: Multiple shifts available, including overnights. Pay: $18-$20 per hour (based on experience and certifications).
- Help with daily activities:
Assist with eating, dressing, and using special equipment. - Home support:
Cook meals, clean, do laundry, shop for groceries, and help keep the home cozy. - Transportation:
Drive residents to appointments, events, and other activities. - Keep records:
Write daily notes and track important information. - Support goals:
Help residents achieve their personal goals. - Administer medication:
Give out medications once trained. - Stay updated:
Complete required training and certifications. - Teamwork:
Work closely with your team and follow instructions from your manager.

Educational Requirements:
We will train you. - Driver’s License:
Must have a valid license for at least 6 months and a good driving record. - Physical ability:
Be able to perform all the tasks needed and ensure the safety of residents. - Basic computer skills:
Know how to use a computer. - Background check required.
- Compensation Pay Range:
- $18/hr for individuals without Medical Application Program (MAP) certification
- $20/hr for individuals with an active MAP certification
- Base $18/hr + $2/hr MAP certification differential
