Utility Assembler Level I
Full Time Direct Labor East Longmeadow, MA, US
Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 hourly
Position Summary:
The Utility Assembler Level I performs a wide variety of basic tasks in their home cost‑center and as needed in other cost centers to support business demands.
- Fold, assemble, and pack various components into boxes or other containers.
- Form and pack cartons or product trays.
- Assemble and pack molded components.
- Inspect and collate games or puzzles.
- Identify defective components or products.
- Perform limited material handling duties as needed.
- Maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards.
- Train other employees as required.
- Keep a clean, organized and safe work area.
- Perform other appropriate work within the plant.
Progression:
This is an introductory level intended for employees with no prior manufacturing experience. Level I Assemblers will learn and perform Level 2 tasks as part of their progression to the next level.
Supports and participates in Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs and/or other operational strategies.
