MasterData Specialist – Onsite East Longmeadow, MA, USA The Job
As a Master Data Specialist you will work on‑site in our East Longmeadow plant. Your responsibilities include:
- Administrating plant‑level engineering changes and updating the manufacturing ERP system (SAP).
- Interacting with multiple functions to establish and implement master data critical for daily operations.
- Being a hands‑on expert in SAP, with proficiency in functions such as:
- Create Material Masters.
- Change, extend, and obsolete part numbers using Change Masters.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Alternate BOMs; calculate BOM quantities.
- Maintain BOM yields per Finance instructions.
- Create and maintain BOMs for OSP/SUBC (outside processing).
- Create and maintain Production Versions (PVs).
- Create and maintain Routes and alternate routes.
- Work with finance and manufacturing engineering to establish and maintain work centers.
- Manage part discontinuation (NOD).
- Maintain documentation to support part building, BOMs, and SAP process rates.
- Monitor plant‑level “Temporary Change” documents for potential process or rate changes.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers to conduct audits capturing changed process rates.
- Administer plant‑level Engineering Changes (LECNs) for the East Longmeadow plant, including managing the LECR/LECN document workflow.
We’re looking for someone who loves to learn, grow, and be acknowledged for valuable contributions. Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- More than 3 years of experience working with SAP in a factory floor environment.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Experience doing Time Studies and setting Work Standards is a plus.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Good English written and oral communication skills.

Salary range: $62,200.00 – $. The range may vary by location and level; the offered salary will align with local wage requirements. Annual merit increases may be available.
