We are seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator - Pressman Level 3 to operate high-speed sheetfed offset presses, including 6-color and 8-color Heidelberg Speed master (CD) and Akiyama presses, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role is responsible for press setup, operation, troubleshooting, and quality control to ensure consistent production and print quality.
ShiftOvernight Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Must be willing to train on 1st and 2nd shift.
Pay$25.00 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift differential
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate high-speed sheetfed offset printing presses
- Operate 6-color and 8-color Heidelberg Speed master (CD) and Akiyama presses
- Monitor press performance to maintain production efficiency and print quality
- Inspect printed materials during production to ensure they meet quality specifications
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with press equipment
- Perform basic repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance
- Work closely with production staff to maintain smooth pressroom operations
- Assist in training and mentoring lower-level pressroom employees
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Experience operating sheetfed offset printing presses (Litho printing and web fed)
- Experience with Heidelberg Speed master (CD), Akiyama, or similar offset presses
- Experience operating 6-color and 8-color presses
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to meet production and quality standards
- Dependable with a strong attendance record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overnight shift
- Ability to perform duties associated with lower-level pressman roles as needed
- Support Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pressroom
- Perform other duties as assigned within the plant
