Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical and hydraulic work, and electrical work up to 90 V DC, on plastic forming machines and associated equipment.
- Setup, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems, grinders, blenders, EOAT, robot systems, and material feed system components.
- Diagnose machine, process, and auxiliary equipment problems.
- Use a multimeter to diagnose electrical problems.
- Participate in replacement and repair of molding machine components.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks, including inspection, lubrication, and adjustment of molding machines, robotic cells, and auxiliary equipment.
- General knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical theory, plus a basic understanding of blueprint reading.
- Strong mechanical abilities and the capacity to operate molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Successful completion of ARC flash training.
- Experience with injection molding.
