What You'll DoAs an Apex Operator, you'll be part of our Stanley Black & Decker team located in East Longmeadow, MA. You'll get to:
- Work individually or with a team to operate the APEX print machine.
- Select work according to priority.
- Operate, adjust and maintain Apex Machine.
- Perform requisite quality checks and appropriate action based on results.
- Report production data to supervision.
- Report faulty equipment or materials to supervision.
- Move product between various workstations or inventories.
- Troubleshoot machine issues.
- Maintain inventory accuracy as well as the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Willing to work as a member of a team.
- Communicate problems, solutions and other information to coworkers, including those on other shifts.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
- Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
- Be versatile and willing to cross train on machines when needed.

- Knowledge of general manufacturing travelers/routing, as well as specification compliance
- 1-2 years' experience preferred
- Use of numbers including decimals
- Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, pulling 5 to 25 pounds

The salary range for this position is $22.09 - $22.65. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The hourly rate offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
