Description

Come join this collaborative and innovative team at Integritus Healthcare. As a Nurse Assistant you will provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, and independence.

Salary based on years of experience (doesn't include shift differential): $18‑$22.09 per hour.

Sign‑on Bonus: $2,500 for full‑time, $1,000 for part‑time.

Weekly pay, day‑one low‑cost benefits, 403(b) retirement plan, generous PTO, and a stepping‑stone program that can pay for RN/LPN tuition.

Responsibilities
  • Provides quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality.
  • Demonstrates respect, attention and awareness toward the diversity among the people we serve (residents, families, caregivers, etc.).
  • Is knowledgeable of the individualized care plan for residents and provides support in accordance with that plan.
  • Identifies and participates in QAPI processes or takes this as an area of development.
  • Assists in daily care and treatment of residents, including bathroom assistance, personal hygiene, dressing, mobility assistance, and food intake.
  • Maintains resident rights and confidentiality.
  • Documents all ADLs in the electronic health record.
  • Observes and reports symptoms, reactions, and other changes in condition promptly.
  • Routinely turns and positions residents as required by the care plan.
  • Complies with all aspects of residents’ rights and reports any incidents or evidence of abuse or violations to the charge nurse or administration.
  • Honors resident right to refuse care and reports such refusals to the nurse supervisor.
  • Assists in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
  • Responds to resident call bells promptly and courteously.
  • Ensures residents who cannot call for help are checked frequently.
  • Takes and documents temperature, pulse, respirations, food and fluid intake and output, as well as height and weight, and records them in the EHR.
  • Ambulates and transfers residents using the appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
  • Uses only equipment that has been trained on, operates safely, and reports defective equipment to the supervisor immediately.
  • Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
  • Assists and escorts residents to appointments such as the hair salon, activities, church services, or doctor’s appointments.
