Lab Technician

Shift

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

$18.00 per hour; salary determined by location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity, with final offer influenced by market conditions and budgetary considerations.

We need a Lab Technician to work in the sample preparation department of our environmental testing laboratory. You will receive training to grow a laboratory sciences career and contribute to meaningful scientific work that protects the environment.

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
