MEP Assistant Project Manager

The MEP Assistant Project Manager will work directly with the Project Manager and field team to support the planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of all MEP-related activities throughout the project lifecycle. This individual will play a key role in ensuring subcontractors, engineers, and field leadership are aligned from preconstruction through closeout.

• Assist in managing all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection scopes on projects
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs for accuracy and coordination
• Work closely with MEP subcontractors to track schedules, procurement, and installations
• Support clash detection and coordination efforts between trades and design teams
• Manage submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and MEP-related documentation in Procore
• Assist with change orders, cost tracking, and budget updates related to MEP scopes
• Help maintain accurate project records and reporting for the PM team

• 2–6 years of construction experience with exposure to MEP systems
• Experience working for a GC/CM or MEP subcontractor is highly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work between office and field teams

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Equivalent field experience considered
