Construction Superintendent & Assistant Superintendent

W.A. Randolph, Inc. is seeking full time positions for both assistant superintendents and superintendents to work on projects located throughout Long Island, NY to support our New York office projects. The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing commerical construction operations retail (ground up and renovation/expansion), hospitality or multi-family projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervising construction labor and subcontractors.
• Enforce and follow all policies of Randolph, including safety, compliance, SWPPP, etc.
• Project Scheduling.
• Participate & coordinate job specific meetings including subcontractor pre-construction meetings, subcontractor safety meetings, subcontractor weekly coordination meetings, etc.
• Assist in performing all required job site safety and compliance inspections weekly or as required.
• Process all job level documentation in GC & client management platforms.
• Manage field office files and contract documents
• Assist in Scheduling and coordinating all required state and local inspections for interim milestones, Certificate of Occupancy and project close out.
• Communicate project progress via daily reports and associated Owner reports as required

Qualifications

• 5 + years experience in construction field supervision
• 2-5 Years for Assistant Superintendent Role
• Ability to read construction documents
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
• Ability to utilize technology to perform daily duties (computer, IPAD, camera, phone, etc)
