Procurement Contracts Specialist East Meadow, NY

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement pre‑qualification and construction project tendering processes and policies.
• Lead and manage the tender process, including evaluation of tenders, conduct of post‑evaluation, and up to awarding of contracts.
• Draft, negotiate, and sign contract terms and conditions with bidders.
• Manage post‑contract activities, review amendments, and potential change orders in line with relevant contracts.
• Conduct periodic evaluation of vendors/contractors/consultants to measure their performance, and resolve any grievances.
• Compile reports for management that monitor contract status, report analysis, and overall contract performance.
• Manage financial operations by preparing financial documents, reports, and construction budgets.

• Education:
  
  Master’s Degree in Project Management/Construction Management or closely related field, or foreign equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 24 months in Project Manager, Procurement Contract Field, or positions with similar job duties.
• Training:

• Alternate sets of education, training, and/or experience:
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Project Management, Construction Management, or Engineering, or closely related, plus 5 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in a similar role.
• Experience:
