Kindergarten Teacher
Hillcrest Elementary is seeking a kindergarten teacher for the school year. Qualification requirements include: a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS), endorsed for early childhood education or elementary education with a grade span including kindergarten. The person will have responsibilities within the building as part of a Professional Learning Community. Must be adept at building relationships and maintaining high academic and behavioral standards for all students.
Possess competence in computer skills and use of other educational technology such as, but not limited to, Smartboards, iPads, etc. Must possess strong inter-personal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students and families, to ensure each child reaches his/her full potential. Salary
- Placement on the EMEA Certified Staff Salary Schedule. This position is benefits eligible. Benefits information can be found on the EMSD Benefits Website. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is part of the East Moline Education Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
