Position Summary

The Payroll Specialist is a vital member of our finance team, responsible for delivering accuracy and excellence in both accounts payable and payroll operations.

In this high-impact role, you will manage critical financial processes that keep our organization running smoothly.

This position collaborates with multiple departments to ensure seamless financial operations, supports ongoing enhancements to accounts payable and payroll procedures, and consistently maintains rigorous standards for compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing & Administration
  • Process weekly and biweekly payrolls for four organizational entities.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records including new hires, terminations, rate changes, tax updates, garnishments, deductions, and direct deposits.
  • Review and validate timekeeping data across multiple systems, ensuring alignment with state and federal labor laws.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll software (e.g., Quick Books, CHS) and MS Excel, UKG experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills for working with vendors, employees, and internal teams.
