RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist for Full-Time Employment in Newark, NJ

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist for a full-time Consultation-Liaison psychiatry opportunity at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The C-L Psychiatrist will provide expert psychiatric care for patients with complex medical conditions to all primary care and specialty services as part of interdisciplinary teams, communicating and collaborating with medical and surgical colleagues to optimize patient care.

Provide consultation-liaison psychiatric care to inpatients with complex medical conditions as part of interdisciplinary teams.

Collaborate with medical and surgical colleagues to optimize patient care and facilitate seamless care transitions.

Engage in ongoing communication with primary care and specialty services to support comprehensive patient management.

• Completion of a Consult-Liaison fellowship (Preferred)
• ABPN board-certified in Adult Psychiatry
• New Jersey license or eligible for licensure in NJ
• Experience working in an inpatient setting (Preferred)

We are open to new graduates as well as experienced physicians. The residency stipend program may offer up to $24,000 for current trainees joining RWJBH during the final year of residency.

NJ Pay-Transparency: The anticipated salary range for this position is $315,000 to $475,000 per year.

The compensation offered will depend on factors including educational background, skills, and professional experience.
