Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and oversight to the nursing department, ensuring alignment with facility goals and objectives
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements
Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among staff members
Conduct regular assessments, audits, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effectiveness
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, addressing patient safety and satisfaction concerns
Mentor and coach staff members to enhance their skills and confidence
Requirements
Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership or management roles
Strong clinical background in nursing, with a focus on gerontological care
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to drive change and improvement
