Community Psychiatric Institute, a leader in Behavioral Healthcare and Chemical Dependency treatment for over 54 years in Essex County, is seeking an innovative & dedicated individual to work full‑time as the Clinical Supervisor in our adult psychiatric Partial Care program.

CPI’s mission is to provide evidenced‑based, person centered care in order to improve the quality of life for individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. We are looking for a self‑motivated, dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team and embrace our agency’s vision, mission and values.

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

• LPC, LCSW or equivalent license required.
• Minimum 5 years progressive clinical experience with mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring populations.

• Supervisory experience preferred.

• Provide leadership and support to clinical staff, fostering collaboration and a positive workplace culture.
• Responsible for oversight and management of clinical team including compliance with required documentation standards, staff productivity and program accountability for clinical services.
• Provide ongoing guidance to clinical staff to ensure excellence in delivery of services, quality of care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Assist with program development and oversight through integration of evidence‑based practices.
• Provide ongoing supervision and training of clinical staff.
• Ensure accuracy of clinical documents including treatment plans, progress notes and other required state mandated documentation.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent leadership abilities.
• Ability to work professionally with our multi‑disciplinary team and foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Ability to learn and efficiently use an electronic health record.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff per State requirements.
• Must be goal‑driven, organized, and efficient in all aspects of work.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and effectively navigate crisis situations.
• Commitment to providing culturally competent, client‑centered care.
