Our client is a family owned business based in East Orange, NJ providing B2B facility services and uniform rental program services. This role supports daily warehouse stockroom operations focused on inventory control, order fulfillment, and quality standards.
Job SummaryThe Stockroom Manager leads inventory management and stockroom team operations to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and in accordance with safety, quality, and process standards. This role manages daily workflow, monitors performance metrics to control merchandise costs, and oversees garment quality and repair coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable leading a stockroom team in a fast-paced uniform service environment.

Monday - Friday, 6am–3:30pm
Reports to:
Operations Manager
- Manage and fulfill orders for new garments, replacement garments, and repaired garments to ensure accuracy, quality, and on-time completion
- Schedule and coordinate daily stockroom operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with company processes and quality standards
- Lead and supervise a team of 6–10 employees performing warehouse/stockroom roles
- Monitor stockroom performance metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability
- Control merchandise costs for new and used garments by following proper processing and purchasing guidelines
- Identify and segregate merchandise that does not meet specified quality standards
- Coordinate garment repairs and track related work to support timely turnaround
- Monitor overall location material costs and support cost control initiatives
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- 1+ years relevant experience in the uniform service/rental industry; stockroom management or related experience
- Proficiency with inventory/order management software and Microsoft Suite
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and direct a team Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying, standing, and walking for extended periods
