Position:
Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician assists in carrying out maintenance processes of the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance. The role supports the make‑ready process under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Community maintenance: attend onsite daily, respond to requests and work orders, complete repairs and replacements for common areas and units.
  • Assist scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair events.
  • Maintain exterior of the community, grounds, breezeways, and common areas.
  • Perform swimming pool maintenance, cleaning, and maintain accurate chemical logs.
  • Inspect daily to identify hazards and correct property conditions.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance program and support hazard communications.
  • Assist with inventory monitoring, record keeping, and general upkeep of office and common areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service and enforce community policies.
  • Participate in on‑call emergency duty at the community.
Education / Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with on‑site software.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Move between work sites, ascend/descend ladders, carry or move objects up to 100+ lbs, perform repetitive motions, and work in tight or overhead spaces.
  • Work in various weather conditions; work overtime, weekends, nights (on-call). Occasionally stand or sit for long periods.
License / Equipment
  • Reliable transportation required for on‑call duties.

Salary Range: $24–$35 per hour
