- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the mall common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and coordinating with property management and/or public responders as directed.
- Monitor access points and back-of-house areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and report security-related concerns such as loitering, disorderly conduct, and/or unauthorized entry.
- Complete detailed written reports and incident documentation, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and/or hazards to the appropriate contacts according to post orders.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
