Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Engine is an exciting new area of innovation for AWS. This team develops PostgreSQL‑compatible Amazon Aurora, a relational database that offers enterprise‑class performance, availability, and durability to customers, along with the management benefits of RDS. • Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work cross‑functionally to help drive business decisions with your technical input.
• Work in a startup‑like development environment, where you’re always working on the most important stuff.

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
