Overview

Join a core group responsible for the availability and durability of the largest fleet of relational databases on AWS.

• Design and develop high‑performance, highly available, and durable distributed database services.
• Address complex problems related to large scale, growth, and cloud leverage.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to architect and implement new features and improvements.

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new or existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
• 1+ year of experience as a software development engineer or related role.
• 1+ year in designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ year of object‑oriented design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

• Experience designing stateful Apache Flink applications with CDC ingestion, checkpoint optimization, and exactly‑once delivery into Apache Iceberg or similar lakehouse formats.
• Proven ability to build REST APIs for lifecycle management and deploy high‑throughput, low‑latency workloads on EKS/Kubernetes with a focus on auto‑recovery and zero‑downtime upgrades.

Base salary range:  –  USD annually. The package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
