Job Description

Seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to join our innovative team and drive technical excellence. You'll design, develop, and scale robust software solutions, leveraging your expertise in system architecture and programming to solve complex challenges. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical skills, creativity, and a passion for building high-performance software systems.

• AWS Services: S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Cloud Formation, Event Bridge, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift, IAM, KMS, RAM
• Backend development:
  Java, serverless architecture, API design
• Security: IAM policies, encryption (client-side and server-side), attribute-based access control (ABAC)
• Data systems:
  Data catalogs, metadata management, asset ingestion workflows
• Distributed systems:
  Event-driven architecture, asynchronous workflows, workflow orchestration

• Cross-functional collaboration
• System design and documentation
• Problem-solving in complex distributed environments

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Base salary range: $ - $ USD annually. Additional compensation includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
