Location:

East Palo Alto, CA, USA – Salary: $165,200 – $223,600 USD annually.

• Collaborate across teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high‑availability, scalable distributed database components.
• Solve complex technical challenges across the stack and create innovative solutions that improve performance, durability, cost, and security.
• Build robust, always‑on products and research implementations that enhance customer experience.
• Mentor teammates, review code, and participate in design discussions.
• Drive automation, create metrics, and resolve root causes of software defects.
• Engage cross‑functionally with stakeholders to influence business decisions.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large‑scale, distributed systems.
• Experience developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• Proficient in Object‑Oriented Design and at least one programming language.
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, testing, and operations.

• 3+ years of end‑to‑end software development life cycle experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
