Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Development Engineer in Redshift, you will build systems that benefit Redshift clusters worldwide. You will own the product vision, define new features and architecture, distill complex requirements into meaningful projects, code end-to-end deliverables, lead engineers on substantial projects, and mentor new hires.
A Day in the Life- Build high-impact solutions for a large customer base.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Work cross‑functionally to influence business decisions with technical input.
- Operate in a startup‑like environment, focusing on critical engineering work.
The Integrations team is responsible for Drivers, Authentication flows, zero‑ETL, and ingestion in Redshift.
Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
- 3+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Salary and BenefitsBase salary range: $165,200 – $223,600 USD annually (USA, CA, East Palo Alto). Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, and more.
