Multiple positions are available, including 8th grade self-contained, 6th grade inclusion (with some self-contained classes), and 3rd-5th grade self-contained classrooms. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team to ensure each student receives the attention and tailored instruction they deserve.
Your expertise will be vital from August 19, 2026, through June 4, 2027, working hours of 7:45 am to 2:45 pm.
Key
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education teaching certification is required
- Prior experience teaching or providing support in special education settings (self-contained or inclusion)
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable creating a positive, structured classroom environment
- Adaptable and responsive to varying student needs
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering instruction to small groups or individuals based on their IEP goals
- Collaborating with general education staff and related service providers
- Maintaining accurate student documentation and progress reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Fostering a safe, nurturing classroom environment
