We are hiring a LAN Engineer for an Engine Equipment Manufacturing Company. As the LAN Engineer you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a complex network team. The LAN Engineer will develop relationships and support a wide variety of network‑related solutions. Together, you will use technical and functional understanding to solve problems.

• Use technical and functional skillset to solve critical business problems.
• Support LAN team to provide support for locations across the Americas.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN issues and replace defective components as needed.
• Respond as needed to support requests that relate to LAN development and support.
• Provide off‑shift support for critical incidents.
• Rotate on‑call schedule, requiring occasional off‑shift and weekend support calls.
• Work directly with business partners and vendors to integrate infrastructure.
• Design and implement process improvements to aid in development and support.
• Follow ITSM process and documentation for all changes.
• Collaborate with other technical teams as needed to plan and execute changes to firewall, VPN, wireless, NAC, etc.
• Advise business partners regarding technical questions/issues in the LAN space.

• Schedule will vary from traditional to nontraditional hours

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, IL.

• The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
