Our client seeks a qualified, experienced reliability engineer with an understanding of equipment, components, and process reliability. This role entails developing and utilizing a range of analysis techniques to rate effectiveness, data gathering and evaluation. Creating reports to illustrate the findings and make improvement suggestions. Investigating individual dependability issues and selecting the best course of action while considering things like equipment uptime, repair costs, and production impact.
Also creating action plans to provide dependable processes while reducing the risk of failures by analyzing various solutions and taking customer requests into account.
Prefer 5+ years of experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reliability & maintenance subject matter expertise.
- Support maintenance reviews, vulnerability assessments and production loss investigations as required.
- Participate in bad actor reviews, and reliability-centered maintenance evaluations as required.
- Drive reliability improvement on assets with a specific focus on increasing production uptime, eliminating production vulnerabilities, and reducing operational costs.
- Utilize data to identify and prioritize engineering/operating/maintenance modifications to drive out the root cause of unplanned downtime.
- Support the development of fit-for-purpose maintenance strategies and robust implementation in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Collaboration:
Work with electrical controls, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to integrate systems. - Work with production for scheduling of planned maintenance.
- Developing the outputs to the customer for the program.
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline preferred.
- Working knowledge and demonstrable application of applicable international codes and standards (e.g. ASME, ANSI, ISO).
- Experience with failure modes effect analysis (FMEAs).
- Statistical analysis of test data with regard to durability and reliability.
- Experience with SAP, Ultrapipe / PSAIM, pi, or other CMMS programs.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Diverse interests and skill set, with an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Mechanical and/or Hydraulic experience a plus.
- Experience estimating and quoting projects.
