Electronics Support Engineer

Job Description

The Electronics Support Engineer is an entry-level to early-career position designed to support engineering teams through technical coordination, documentation, and test support activities.

This role offers exposure to engineering processes, products, and project workflows, with the potential for growth into future project leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

+ Provide day-to-day engineering support to project and test teams.

+ Assist with engineering documentation, specifications, and test plans, including 1E specifications.

+ Support test setup and execution, coordinating with test technicians.

+ Order, track, and organize parts and components required for testing.

+ Coordinate labeling, organization, and logistics for test hardware and materials.

+ Help organize and maintain project artifacts, records, and technical data.

+ Follow established engineering and business processes to ensure work is completed accurately.

+ Contribute productively in a fast-paced team environment where reliability and consistency are critical.

Essential Skills

+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.

+ Mechatronics backgrounds are particularly favorable.

+ New graduate up to approximately 3 years of engineering experience.

+ Strong academic performance.

+ Engineering fundamentals aligned with mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics disciplines.

+ Ability to understand and contribute to engineering documentation and specifications.

+ Familiarity with structured engineering workflows and technical problem-solving.

+ Comfort working with technical data, components, and test environments.

+ Ability to learn and apply internal engineering processes and standards.

+ Electrical Engineering degree (EE degree)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of East Peoria, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $64480.00/hr.
