Drivetrain Lifecycle Manager

The primary function of this role will be to support the Drivetrain Lifecycle Manager with execution of the pertinent tasks associated with application of the corporate Service Life Policy to the portfolio of LPSD Drivetrain service parts. The duties of this role will entail the gathering and analysis of all data necessary for the review of service part lifecycle, including dealer demand history, machine application parameters, and sourcing restrictions per the direction of the Drivetrain Lifecycle Manager.

Typical day includes:

• Receive, document and execute requests for Service Life Policy analysis of service parts
• Collect data pertaining to sales model usage, historic dealer demand quantity, age of part and forecasted future demand to evaluate if the part may be discontinued per the client’s Service Life Policy
• Make recommendation to Lifecycle Manager to discontinue or maintain availability of part, document results of the decision and communicate to the requesting party

Technical skills required:

• General mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical drivetrain systems and components
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications (primarily Excel, Powerpoint, Teams) including Sharepoint site creation and maintenance

Soft skills required:

• Organized and process-oriented approach to completing tasks
• Ability to summarize and present findings of analysis in a clear, concise manner
• Motivated by procedural excellence

Education requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
• 5-7 years experience required
