At Caterpillar's East Peoria facility, we manufacture and assemble Track Type Tractors that support critical infrastructure, mining, and construction projects around the world. As an Environmental Senior Specialist
, you'll play a key role in protecting the environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advancing sustainable manufacturing practices while partnering with teams across the business to drive continuous improvement.

As an Environmental Senior Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives that support Caterpillar's East Peoria manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will:

• Lead environmental compliance efforts by interpreting regulations, conducting audits, inspections, and ensuring adherence to EPA, IEPA, OSHA, and Caterpillar standards.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and reviewing new products, equipment, and processes.

• Develop and maintain environmental programs, procedures, and management systems that support operational excellence and long-term sustainability goals.

• Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams to drive environmental performance and continuous improvement initiatives

• Monitor environmental metrics and prepare regulatory reports while developing training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.

• Champion a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship across the facility through proactive problem-solving and process improvement.

• Drive environmental excellence at one of Caterpillar's premier manufacturing facilities producing Track Type Tractors.

• Lead impactful initiatives that improve environmental compliance, sustainability, and operational performance.

• Partner with cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, quality, and leadership to solve complex challenges.

• Influence environmental culture and continuous improvement efforts while reducing risk and enhancing facility performance.

• Gain exposure to diverse environmental programs and regulatory requirements in a world-class manufacturing environment.

• Sustainability: Utilize sustainability principles to support environmental initiatives, compliance programs, and Caterpillar's commitment to responsible business practices.
