Part Time Medical Director – Champaign/Normal/East Peoria/Springfield, IL
Schedule: M-F (flexibility on days)
Hours: 32 hours per month (8 hours per week with 1 day a month at each site)
Med Mark Treatment Centers is dedicated to providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery supports and medical services. We deliver medically-supervised services for adults in a variety of modalities and settings.
Primary Job Function- Admitting patients for methadone treatment
- Conduct history and physical examinations
- Document in the EMR and enter orders for methadone or buprenorphine dosing
- Consistently monitor patient medication levels in conjunction with the Treatment Center Director, counselors, and dosing nurses
- Consult on patients that are high risk and conduct annual medication reviews
- Complete other related duties as determined by supervisor
- Board certified in addiction medicine
- One year of addiction medicine/MAT experience required
- Must be licensed in the state of Illinois
- Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
The salary for this position is $180 to $230 an hour. The final salary will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
