Servicenow Developer And Administrator

The client’s Cybersecurity Engineering team is seeking a skilled Service Now developer and administrator to work on configuration of Service Now modules.

Day-to-day activities will vary depending on organizational needs, but will include: development, testing, quality assurance, maintenance, support and documentation of solutions. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Individual development work in Service Now Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), Vendor Risk Management (VRM) or custom applications
• Meeting with process owners to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborating with other team members on design, peer code reviews and testing
• Understanding system capabilities and provide ideas on how to use the tool to solve business objectives Flexible work arrangement - work location based on daily commitments and how/where person works most efficiently and effectively - must have ability to come onsite as needed.

Technical

Skills Required:

• 5+ years experience developing on the Service Now platform including the configuration of modules such as GRC Vendor Risk Management
• 5+ years experience administering Service Now including the modification of the workflows, business rules, UI components, ACLs, catalog items and updates.

Soft

Skills Required:

• Good analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technical issues
• A good understanding of IT service management and IT service delivery standards
• Excellent knowledge of Service Now Best Practices and latest Service Now features
• Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced, ever changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, presentation, writing skills and the ability to work with business partners

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor (4-year) degree with 8 years IT experience (5 of those must be in Service Now Development)
• Masters Degree with 6+ years IT experience ( 5 of those must be in Service Now Development)
