Role Definition

As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer (Warehouse Lead) you will drive facility supply chain performance, meet corporate targets for inventory reduction, increase inventory turns, and improve order‑to‑delivery results. You will lead facility projects to plan, pull material replenishment, manage warehousing, enhance autonomy and throughput efficiency.

  • Supplier relationship management for external warehousing
  • Strategic buffer planning
  • Deliver key critical OPACC improvement initiatives, including automated material handling and warehouse optimization
  • Identify, define, and implement integrated supply‑chain solutions and performance improvements, building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities
  • Establish effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions
  • Investigate and incorporate industry benchmarks, metrics, and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and product sets
  • Develop and analyze data to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance, creating cost‑effective supply chains, and enhancing inventory utilization
Degree Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired

  • Standard Operating Procedures – Level Working Knowledge. Knowledge of SOPs and ability to design, implement, and evaluate them.
  • Supplier Management – MFG – Level Working Knowledge. Ability to manage relationships with suppliers of raw materials or components.
  • Supply Chain Management – MFG – Level Working Knowledge. Ability to develop and use strategies, practices, and tools for controlling logistical processes.
Top candidates will also have
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing engineering
  • APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification desired
  • Experience with AGVs and other automated solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and project management tools

  • This position will be located onsite 5 days a week in East Peoria, IL (Building KK)
