. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client.
Compensation is up to $63/hour + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401(k), and holiday pay).
We are seeking an Analyst/Developer to join a collaborative security-focused software development team responsible for building and enhancing web applications that support enterprise network lifecycle management. In this role, you will develop secure cloud-based applications, build API integrations, and create new functionality within AWS and Open Shift environments. This position offers the opportunity to work on modern web technologies, cloud platforms, and AI-assisted development while collaborating with cross-functional teams and end users.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain secure web applications in AWS and Open Shift environments.
- Build and support REST API endpoints and database-driven CRUD applications.
- Develop integrations with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, test, and deploy software enhancements while ensuring code quality and security.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to support globally deployed applications, participate in Agile ceremonies, and create technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, recognized coding bootcamp, or equivalent training.
- 2-3 years of professional software development experience (3-5 years preferred).
- Strong experience with:
- Python 3.x
- SQL/MySQL
- HTML/CSS
- Git and version control
- Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Projects
- Automated unit and integration testing
- REST API development and third-party integrations
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- React development experience (state management and props).
- AWS cloud development, deployment, and maintenance experience.
- Service Now development experience.
- Experience implementing OAuth authentication.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code.
- Experience building data models/ORMs with Python and MySQL.
- Experience with software design patterns and Azure Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.
- Experience working in Agile environments and leveraging AI-assisted development.
