Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Manufacturing Heavy Equipment Processor at our equipment processing center in East Peoria, Illinois.
Starting rate of pay $18.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do:
- Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard.
- Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment.
- Drive and operate equipment, including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments, or other machine movements to facilitate transport.
- Work outside in all reasonable weather conditions.
- Read and interpret paperwork associated with the shipping/receiving function including bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation.
- Drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution with a current driver’s license.
What You’ll Need:
- Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes.
- Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping/receiving function.
- Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions.
- Current valid driver’s license.
