We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Intermodal Sales Representative to join our growing Road Logistics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving new business opportunities, expanding our customer base, and strengthening our position within the intermodal freight market. You will focus on high-volume prospecting, engaging decision-makers, and generating qualified leads that convert into long-term customer relationships.

How you create impact
  • Drive new business development through proactive prospecting and outreach activities
  • Generate and qualify high-quality leads to support sales pipeline growth
  • Schedule and coordinate sales meetings with prospective clients to improve conversion rates
  • Conduct high-volume cold calling and outbound engagement with target accounts
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers to understand their logistics and supply chain needs
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop effective outreach and prospecting strategies
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of intermodal business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity and customer interactions
  • Leverage industry knowledge to position tailored intermodal solutions to prospects
  • Utilize sales tools and technologies to enhance productivity and accelerate pipeline development
  • Continuously identify new target accounts and develop strategic outreach plans
  • Contribute to overall revenue growth by consistently meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline targets
  • Provide market feedback and insights to internal stakeholders to refine sales approach
What we would like you to bring
  • 4+ years of experience in logistics, sales development, or related commercial roles
  • 2+ years of intermodal (IMDL) sales experience, ideally within a freight broker or IMC environment
  • Proven success in cold calling, lead generation, and high-volume prospecting environments
  • Strong “hunter” mindset with a track record of building pipeline and generating new business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and active listening skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly
  • Experience using CRM or sales acceleration tools preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven sales environment
