  • Compensation: $75,000–$95,000 annually, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Support day‑to‑day accounting operations across multiple programs and funding sources
  • Maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP and non‑profit accounting standards
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly financial statements
  • Assist with fund accounting, restricted/unrestricted funds tracking, and grant reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for departments and programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements
  • Assist with audits, reviews, and compliance reporting
  • Partner with program managers and leadership to monitor budgets, expenses, and funding utilization
  • Prepare financial reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders (boards, funders, auditors)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • 3–5+ years of accounting experience within non‑profit, public accounting, or general ledger‑focused roles
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with fund accounting, grants management, or multi‑entity environments is a plus
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books or similar ERP systems)
  • Strong reconciliation skills with close attention to detail and documentation
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
