General Summary of Position
The Returns Associate processes incoming returns accurately, verifies RMAs, inspects product condition, and updates system records. This role ensures timely disposition-restock, repair, or scrap-while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting customer credit issuance.
Responsibilities- Receive and log returned goods; verify against RMA and order records.
- Inspect items for condition and completeness, document findings.
- Update ERP/WMS with return status and inventory movements.
- Restock acceptable items and route nonconforming items appropriately.
- Print documentation and labels for return-to-vendor (RTV) when required.
- Perform basic quality checks and escalate discrepancies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0-2 years of returns processing or warehouse experience
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs safely
- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with ERP/WMS
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Experience with RMA processes and RTV documentation
- Knowledge of basic quality inspection standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
