Right At School has been providing safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for more than a decade and now serves more than 35,000 students in 17 states. Hours:

Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM AND 3:15 PM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality enrichment programs for children using our internally crafted Disguised Learning curriculum
  • Develop and coach a team passionate about providing a safe, fun, engaging environment
  • Work closely with principals and school staff to enhance the instructional experience
  • Participate in local community events (Back to School, Right Club gives back, Field Day, etc.) to instill the Right At School footprint
  • Maintain safety standards including supervision and program paperwork
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supervising others
  • Experience working with children, including special needs
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
  • Strong communication skills – oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when interacting with students, parents, staff, and the community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
State Specific Requirements
  • Current Rhode Island Department of Education teacher certification for grades pre‑kindergarten to second grade AND three months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program
  • Current Rhode Island Department of Education teacher certification for early childhood special education, which includes early childhood certification AND three months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education AND three months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to early childhood education (e.g., child development, elementary education, or special education) AND 24 credits in early childhood education from an accredited institution AND three months supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field AND 12 credits in early childhood education from an accredited institution AND one year of supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field AND RIELDS certification:
    Implementing a Standards‑Based Program AND one year of supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program
  • Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field or an associate’s degree in a field related to early childhood education AND active participation in a DHS‑approved ECE program to receive 24 ECE credits, promoted from within the program after one year of employment
