Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: College Hill, RI
Hours: Full Time
Our well‑established staffing organization and its affiliates are proud to partner with school districts in the College Hill, RI area to provide students with the services they need for a successful future. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Special Education (SPED) Teacher with ASD experience for a Full‑time position.
Responsibilities- Provide instruction for ASD Pupils.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Utilize common core and resource curriculum to address both academic and behavioral goals.
- Conduct 1:1 individualized sessions with students throughout the week.
- Coordinate with parents and teachers to schedule days, times, and meeting places at district schools.
- Travel between multiple schools as needed to meet with students.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and activities.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Rhode Island Special Education teaching license.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in the field of Special Education, preferably in a resource setting.
