Spanish Teacher - Lower School

Providence Country Day School, an independent PK‑12 school, is seeking a dynamic, versatile educator for a part‑time Spanish teaching position in the Lower School.

• Teach weekly Spanish lessons to Pre‑K through 4th‑grade students.
• Introduce and develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Expose students to diverse cultures, histories, and traditions to broaden their perspective.
• Create and implement differentiated instruction and project‑based learning activities.
• Collaborate with the faculty team and play an integral role in students’ daily lives.
• Integrate technology across Spanish instruction and through the broader curriculum.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience teaching Spanish or working with language learners; ability to teach multiple levels.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the classroom and workplace.
• Background in project‑based learning and differentiated instruction (desired).
• Willingness to pursue professional development opportunities.
