We are looking for a caring, reliable, and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team. The Preschool Teacher will create a positive classroom environment, plan age‑appropriate lessons, and support children’s learning through hands‑on STEAM activities, play‑based learning, and daily routines.
Responsibilities- Create and implement engaging preschool lessons that include STEAM-based activities.
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions.
- Encourage creativity, independence, teamwork, and problem‑solving.
- Communicate professionally with parents, families, and staff.
- Observe and document children’s progress, behavior, and development.
- Follow all daycare policies, licensing regulations, health, and safety procedures.
- Assist with classroom setup, cleaning, materials preparation, and daily reports.
- Work as part of a team with other teachers, assistants, and directors.
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Knowledge of child development and classroom management.
- Passion for STEAM education, creativity, and hands‑on learning.
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
- Must be dependable, professional, and nurturing.
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Comfortable leading art, science, building, sensory, and discovery activities.
- Ability to create a structured but fun classroom routine.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
