Job Summary

The Clinical Pharmacist implements, monitors, evaluates and modifies patient pharmacotherapy to ensure effective, safe, and economical patient care. Serves as a member of the healthcare team to make therapeutic decisions, such as drug and drug product selection, and drug dosing. Provides education and support to patients/caretakers and staff, and performs other job-related duties as requested. Works collaboratively with pharmacy technicians to ensure medications available for patients.

Specifications

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Rhode Island or eligible for state licensure. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, and working knowledge of computers. Proficiency in the English language required.
