Aetna Resources, LLC., a CVS Health company, is hiring for a Decision Scientist in Woonsocket, RI. The role consults with internal clients to identify opportunities for data science solutions, transforming data into meaningful information. Duties include applying data mining, modeling, machine learning and statistical analyses to large data sources; using data‑oriented programming languages and visualization software to explore, analyze and interpret data;

comparing modeling techniques with performance metrics; structuring data analysis to drive insights; visualizing, interpreting and reporting findings to internal clients and leadership; collaborating with business partners to develop predictive models and evaluate scenarios; designing and developing data science solutions with industry‑leading tools; and advising on analytics solutions that balance business strategy and technical tradeoffs in a big‑data environment. Multiple positions.

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

• Data analysis for large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector
• Developing analytics‑based platform capabilities, services or products
• Machine learning, statistical analysis or predictive modeling
• Proficiency with R, Python or SQL
• Experience with SAS or SQL programming languages
• Visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau
• Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases
• End‑to‑end data science lifecycle/workflow
• Product management in a large, matrixed organization with many internal partners
• Supporting large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiatives

Pay Range: $98,571.00/year to $/year. This range represents the base annual salary for the position. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program and includes an equity award program.
