Responsibilities include:

developing large‑scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights and address reporting needs; writing ETL processes, designing database systems, and developing tools for real‑time and offline analytic processing to improve existing systems and expand capabilities; collaborating with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes; testing and maintaining systems and troubleshooting malfunctions;

leveraging knowledge of Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and optimizing queries to build data pipelines; utilizing programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust pipelines and dynamic systems; building data marts and data models to support Data Science and other internal customers; integrating data from a variety of sources while ensuring adherence to data quality and accessibility standards;

analyzing current IT environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions to complex business problems; and experimenting with available tools and advising on new tools to provide optimal solutions that meet the requirements dictated by the model/use case.

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a combination of education. Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following:

• Business and IT strategic delivery

• Portfolio/Program/Product Management

• Cloud migration and data ingestion
• Risk Management and People Management
• Regulatory Compliance Delivery
• Management Information Systems
• Enterprise CRM Implementation
• Business and IT process enhancements
• Writing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes
• Agile productivity tools and leading platform capabilities, services, or products
• Product management in a large, matrixed organization with many internal partners

$/year to $/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
