Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Transform business needs into clear, actionable reporting and data visualization solutions
• Lead or contribute to projects with broad scope and significant departmental impact

• Building and maintaining a strong network of colleagues across the Fidelity Enterprise
• Make informed decisions independently within a wide context
• Drive continuous improvement in team processes and reporting capabilities
• Demonstrate curiosity and a strong desire to understand systems and workflows
• Design, develop, and enhance SAP Business Objects Universe including object definitions, joins & contexts, calculated & derived elements
• Apply advanced reporting logic using Business Objects & variables, SQL expressions & calculations
• Approach challenges with a hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong ability to interpret business requests and align them with available data
• Ability to design, build, and deploy new Business Objects reports
• Experience partnering with technology teams to source and integrate new data
• 5+ years of business analysis experience
• Direct experience with Universe development
• Demonstrated experience with SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, & Snowflake
• Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to influence stakeholders
