Machine Operator Assistant - 11 PM to 7 AM - Urgent Hire

The Machine Operator Assistant supports machine operators with daily production tasks, maintains a clean and safe work area, and helps ensure products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, and able to work well as part of a team. A clean background and drug test is required.

• 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Assist machine operators with machine setup, changeovers, and production runs.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
• Perform visual and basic quality inspections using measuring tools.
• Monitor product quality and immediately report defects or equipment issues.
• Package, label, stack, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Remove scrap materials and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities as directed.
  
  Complete accurate production and quality documentation.
• Follow all company safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and minimize downtime.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds
  .
• Push, pull, bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime and different shifts as needed.

• Experience in manufacturing or corrugated packaging.
• Forklift experience or willingness to become forklift certified.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
